Coforge acquires Encora for $2.35bn Coforge signed definitive agreements to acquire Encora, a Silicon Valley-based AI-native engineering services firm, in a move that significantly boosts its capabilities in AI-led product engineering, cloud, and data services. Coforge will acquire the business from Advent, Warburg Pincus and other minority shareholders. The deal, which is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, marks one of Coforge's most ambitious expansion steps yet. With this acquisition, Coforge is expected to become a US$2.5 billion technology services player, gaining stronger near-shore delivery capacity in Latin America, a deeper US presence, and expanded strength across the Hi-Tech and Healthcare sectors. HCLSoftware makes two key acquisitions

HCL Technologies' software arm, HCLSoftware, has agreed to acquire Jaspersoft from Cloud Software Group for $240 million in an all-cash deal, as the company sharpens its focus on data, analytics and artificial intelligence-led enterprise software. The acquisition, expected to close within six months of signing, will see Jaspersoft - a provider of embedded analytics and pixel-perfect reporting tools - become part of HCLSoftware's Data & AI division, Actian. About 115 employees across geographies will move to HCLSoftware as part of the transaction. The Jaspersoft acquisition comes close on the heels of another data-and-AI-focused buyout announced by HCLSoftware earlier this week. In a separate disclosure to the stock exchanges, the company said it would acquire Belgium-based early-stage startup Wobby for about Rs.47 crore (€4.5 million). Wobby develops AI data analyst "agents" for data warehouses, designed to help enterprises extract insights faster using GenAI. The deal, structured as a 100% cash transaction, includes €3 million payable at closing and deferred payments of €0.75 million each at the first and second anniversary of the closing. The acquisition is expected to close by February 2026. Last week, HCLTech signed an agreement to acquire the Telco Solutions business from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), expanding its enterprise technology capabilities for global communication service providers. 1Point1 Solutions to acquire Costa Rica's Netcom Mumbai-headquartered AI-led business process management firm 1Point1 Solutions has signed a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire Netcom Business Contact Center S.A., a Costa Rica-based BPM company, as it steps up its overseas expansion and inorganic growth strategy. The transaction, which involves the acquisition of 100% equity in Netcom, is valued at $33.37 million. This includes an upfront payment of $25.41 million and an estimated earn-out of $8.25 million, linked to post-closing EBITDA performance and excess working capital adjustments. Transaction-related costs are expected to be about $1 million. The deal is targeted for completion on or before 31 March 2026. Aurionpro subsidiary bags Rs.63 Cr modernisation deal from Singapore-based bank

Integro Technologies, a subsidiary of enterprise technology provider Aurionpro Solutions, has bagged a Rs.63 Crores deal from a global bank headquartered in Singapore. In this partnership, Integro will modernise the bank's existing lending operations. This large-scale program, comprising multiple critical initiatives, will be delivered across the bank's global network of subsidiaries and regions, resulting in a single, unified global deployment. The program will be executed through the rollout of Aurionpro's Integro Corporate Lending platform, enabling cross-border data access, enhanced financial analysis and credit rating capabilities, and extended net-zero digitization for ESG workflows and ESG covenant monitoring. This program is expected to strengthen the bank's global sustainable financing capabilities while delivering improved operational consistency, efficiency, and governance across its global lending franchise, the company said. HCLTech joins Microsoft Discovery platform to accelerate AI research

HCLTech has joined Microsoft Discovery, an advanced agentic AI platform aimed at accelerating scientific research and innovation, marking a deeper collaboration between the Indian IT major and the US software giant in high-end R&D services. As part of the engagement, HCLTech will undergo deep technical onboarding with Microsoft's Discovery team to align platform architecture, collaboration models and explore joint go-to-market opportunities. Following this, the company will participate in projects focused on accelerating solutions across chemistry and materials science, drug discovery and semiconductor design, leveraging its engineering and domain expertise across industries.

Garuda Aerospace partners with Salesforce

Garuda Aerospace, a drone manufacturing company based in Chennai, has partnered with Salesforce to update its approach to managing customer data and internal operations as it expands its business. Under the collaboration, Garuda Aerospace will use Salesforce's AI-based CRM tools, including Agentforce Sales and Agentforce, to manage customer interactions across sales, service, and marketing teams. The goal is to create a unified system for customer information and operational data as the company expands its presence in India and enters new markets in Southeast Asia and Africa.
