
New Delhi, April 16 -- Infosys, an IT serives provider, and Spark, a telecommunications and digital services provider in New Zealand, have entered into a strategic agreement focused on transforming Spark's technology delivery. The agreement aims to support Spark's shift towards digital and AI-driven services while managing IT operating costs.
Infosys will use its AI and cloud-based platforms, Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, to support Spark's digital strategy. These platforms are designed to integrate AI and cloud technologies to improve operational efficiency and customer service capabilities.
Under this partnership, Infosys will handle software development tasks including building, testing, and integrating Spark's systems and applications. It will also be responsible for system monitoring and technical support.
Spark will continue to maintain control over its IT assets, technology architecture, and product development strategies. Infosys will provide support through its global operations, contributing expertise in software engineering and innovation.
The two companies have worked together for more than 16 years. As part of the new agreement, Infosys plans to grow its local workforce in New Zealand. This is aimed at maintaining local support and technical expertise for Spark, while also making use of Infosys's global resources.
