New Delhi, June 5 -- Infosys has announced a new suite of artificial intelligence-powered features set to redefine the fan experience at Roland-Garros 2025. Now in its seventh year as the official AI and Digital Innovation Partner of the French Tennis Federation (FFT), the technology firm will roll out immersive, interactive tools designed to deepen audience engagement and enhance the tournament's digital landscape.

Powered by Infosys Topaz, the company's AI-first platform, the latest offerings apply generative and agent-based AI to deliver a range of new features aimed at bringing fans closer to the sport than ever before.

Among the key innovations is AI Commentary, which delivers tailored match analysis by combining real-time data with player-specific insights. Using large language models and agentic AI, the feature offers point-by-point highlights and game-level overviews, capturing the emotional intensity and tactical nuance of each match.

Also debuting this year is the AI Stadium, an interactive virtual reality experience where fans can use voice commands to design their own 3D tennis arenas. The system allows for rapid creation of immersive environments - from futuristic courts to nature-themed settings - further blending sport with digital creativity.

Another standout feature is the Generative AI Poster Challenge. This tool allows fans to create short AI-generated videos using prompts inspired by French art, architecture, and tennis symbols. At the onsite Infosys Fanzone, visitors can step into an LED cube to view their creations come to life, with winners earning tickets and vouchers for Roland-Garros. The experience is developed with responsible AI practices to ensure ethical and safe usage.

These innovations build on Infosys' existing digital contributions to the tournament, such as Match Centre, AI-assisted journalism, and data-driven video analysis, all of which continue to evolve in their scope and capability.

Infosys is also expanding its community impact through a collaboration with Fete le Mur, a social inclusion charity supported by the FFT. As part of the partnership, tennis-themed digital courses will be offered via the Infosys Springboard platform. Around 60 young participants will have the opportunity to attend Roland-Garros and take part in AI workshops led by Infosys experts. Additionally, the winner of a "biggest Rafa fan" contest will receive a two-day experience at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Spain.

Commenting on the initiative, Sumit Virmani, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Infosys, said: "We're excited to be at the forefront of a tech-led transformation in tennis. With AI-driven insights and personalised commentary, we're opening up new ways for fans to engage with the sport. This year's innovations showcase the power of AI to elevate storytelling, creativity, and real-time interaction."

FFT CEO Stephane Morel added: "Our ongoing collaboration with Infosys continues to push the boundaries of what fans can expect from Roland-Garros. These AI tools are not just about technology-they're about creating meaningful connections with fans across the globe."
