New Delhi, April 14 -- HCL Technologies (HCLTech), India's third-largest IT services firm, on Monday announced the integration of NVIDIA AI Enterprise with its GenAI-led service platform, AI Force, and NVIDIA Omniverse with its physical Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution, SmartTwin.

These integrations are aimed at streamlining software development and enhancing engineering workflows for enterprise clients, the Noida-headquartered firm said in an exchange filing.

With the integration of NVIDIA AI Enterprise, including components like NVIDIA NIM, NeMo Retriever microservices, the Llama Nemotron model family, and NVIDIA AI Blueprints, HCLTech's AI Force users will be equipped to reduce software release timelines, improve code quality, and optimize operations. The platform targets key development areas such as coding, testing, legacy system modernization, and process automation, it added.

In parallel, HCLTech's SmartTwin platform will leverage NVIDIA Omniverse to support the development of interoperable data pipelines using OpenUSD, integration with third-party engineering tools, and execution of high-fidelity simulations. These capabilities aim to reduce product development costs and reliance on physical prototypes while accelerating time to market.

Vijay Guntur, CTO and head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, commented, "AI is empowering enterprises to achieve operational excellence and business growth across industries. Our work with NVIDIA will bring a wide range of capabilities and benefits to businesses across industries as they adopt AI products and services across their operations."

HCL Technologies' partnership with Nvidia dates back to September 2020, when the Indian IT firm joined the chipmaker's Nvidia Partner Network (NPN) to pursue expanded opportunities in the AI space. HCLTech also launched an AI lab called NEXT.ai powered by two NVIDIA DGX-1 systems to enhance capabilities to build AI-led solutions for clients across industry verticals.

Also, the latest expanded partnership announcement came only days after HCLTech launched a suite of Agentic AI solutions in collaboration with Google Cloud to help enterprises derive enhanced business value from their digital and technology landscapes. That said, by leveraging Google Cloud's Agentspace and agentic framework, HCLTech has created a unified platform where agents with the ability to reason, act and adapt can seamlessly interact with data and applications, the company said.

HCLTech is slated to announce its Q4 FY25 results on April 22. In January, the IT services firm reported a 5% rise in revenue from operations to Rs.29,890 crore for Q3 FY25, up from Rs.28,446 crore in Q3 FY24. Net profit increased by 5.5% to Rs.4,591 crore for the quarter that ended December 31, 2024, reflecting strong financial performance amid macroeconomic challenges, led by digital and AI transformation deals.
