Reliance Infrastructure appoints new CIO

Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, the flagship company of Anil Ambani's Reliance Group, has named Sudeep Agrawal as its new chief information officer (CIO). In this role, Agrawal will focus on leveraging technology for business growth and India's clean energy transition. He brings over 20 years of experience, most recently as VP and Head of IT at ReNew Power, where he led various digital transformation programs. He also has experience with IoT, S/4 HANA, Salesforce, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) analytics, and cloud platforms. Boeing names new tech chief for India

Aerospace major Boeing has appointed Shashank Jha as CIO and Head of Digital Technology for India where Jha will be based in Bengaluru. He will lead Boeing's IDT&S strategy and operations in India, managing site operations, team development, and internal engagement. Jha will also serve as executive director of commercial Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) products. He previously led the India Global Capability Center at Dover Corporation and held leadership roles at General Electric, Honeywell, and Bosch. (Read more)

Dell Technologies appoints Manish Gupta as India MD

Dell Technologies appointed Manish Gupta as president and managing director for India. Gupta will be spearheading the company's strategic growth initiatives and driving sales in India. He succeeds Alok Ohrie, who is stepping down to spend more time with his family and focus on personal endeavours. Gupta will be based in Bengaluru and will report to Peter Marrs, President, Asia Pacific Japan & Greater China (APJC). Gupta has over 25 years of IT experience, including more than a decade in leadership at Dell Technologies. Previously, he led global alliances, channel engagement, and strategy development for APJC, and served as Vice President of the Infrastructure Solutions Group in India, contributing significantly to Dell's growth. Gupta holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow, a Bachelor of Engineering from Panjab University, and is a Fulbright-Nehru Fellow for Leadership in Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.

Tech Mahindra appoints Amol Phadke as CIO

IT services firm Tech Mahindra has named Amol Phadke as the chief transformation officer. An industry veteran, Phadke specialises in offering technology and business leadership in areas such as AI, cloud, software networks and IT, Big Tech, and the telecommunications industry. Before Tech Mahindra, Phadke was with Telenor Group as the group CTO and executive vice president. In the role, he led the Group Technology organisation at the headquarters in Norway and was responsible for setting Telenor's overall technology strategy and Research and Innovation ambitions as well as global ecosystem partnerships. Earlier, Amol was at Google Cloud and served as the Global GM for the Communications Service Provider Industry Vertical. He has over 25 years of global telecom Industry experience and has also worked at Accenture, Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia), and BT Group in several leadership roles across the US, India, Singapore, and the UK.
