New Delhi, June 23 -- Indian IT firm Coforge has collaborated with Duke University's Fuqua School of Business to examine how Generative AI can be effectively applied across industries. As part of the initiative, students from the business school participated in the Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum (FCCP), working closely with Coforge experts and faculty members to identify practical use cases of the technology in areas such as wealth management, travel, and customer service.

The collaboration allowed students to translate their academic learning into practical business insights, offering strategic analysis and recommendations aimed at supporting digital transformation within client organisations. Coforge said that the partnership was an example of its broader engagement with academic and research institutions to explore new technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science.

Vic Gupta, Executive Vice President at Coforge, noted that Fuqua's strong technology-focused curriculum and global talent pool made it an ideal partner. "These collaborations give us access to individuals who offer fresh perspectives on industry challenges. With the support of their faculty and guidance from our professionals, we are able to develop viable solutions for our clients," he said.

Separately, Coforge recently announced a partnership with Blackhawk Network (BHN), a global provider of branded payment solutions, and ServiceNow, to modernise BHN's dispute resolution operations. The initiative involved implementing ServiceNow's Financial Services Operations (FSO) Dispute Management module to streamline the handling of transaction disputes.

The new platform incorporates AI and automation to improve speed and efficiency in managing customer complaints - a process typically seen as resource-heavy in the financial services sector. Key features such as real-time analytics, automated case summaries, and improved transparency are designed to enable quicker resolutions and enhanced regulatory compliance.
