
New Delhi, April 23 -- Ciklum, a UK-based experience engineering firm, has announced plans to expand its operations in India by opening two new Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineering hubs in Chennai and Pune.
The new offices will be located in Chennai (15,000 square feet) and Pune (25,000 square feet). With these additions, Ciklum intends to double its engineering workforce in India. The company aims to use this expanded presence to support AI-based product development for global clients in sectors including banking, retail, technology, and healthcare.
The company plans to use its India hubs to support AI solutions that include automation, analytics, and generative AI applications. These capabilities are aimed at improving how global enterprises build and manage digital products.

The company currently employs more than 4,000 people worldwide and reports annual revenue of over $225 million. Its operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa account for 80% of revenue, while the United States makes up the remaining 20%. Ciklum expects its US business to grow significantly in the near future.
The expansion in India is designed to improve the speed and efficiency of Ciklum's AI-led product development. The company integrates AI into all stages of product engineering, from early design through to deployment and optimisation. The goal is to help clients make faster decisions, offer personalised experiences, and improve operational performance through AI technologies, it said.
