New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Mid-sized IT services firm Aurionpro Solutions on Wednesday announced a significant order win from a reputed global data centre developer and operator, strengthening its credentials in mission-critical infrastructure execution.
The order comes close on the heels of Aurionpro's recent data centre infrastructure expansion contract with IDBI Bank Limited, underscoring growing confidence among both banking institutions and global data centre operators in the company's delivery capabilities.
The latest engagement involves the design and execution of a brownfield data centre facility in Mumbai and is scheduled to be implemented over the next three quarters. The scope includes engineering, construction, integrated testing and commissioning, and lifecycle support - delivered within a live operational campus environment.
In its exchange filing, Aurionpro said the mandate reflects the trust it has built with tier-one global operators and validates its ability to execute across the full infrastructure value chain, from engineering and design to commissioning and ongoing support.
Separately, under the IDBI Bank contract, the company is undertaking a comprehensive upgrade of the bank's existing data centre infrastructure, covering electrical, cooling, security and allied MEP systems. The project is being executed in a live data centre environment - making it one of the more complex infrastructure modernisation programmes undertaken by the lender.
"With the government's data centre framework now in place and Budget 2026 reinforcing India's positioning as a neo-cloud hub, demand for proven execution partners capable of delivering mission-critical infrastructure within live operational environments has never been higher," Bhaskar Bhattacharya, EVP and head - Enterprise Business at Aurionpro Solutions, said.
Industry data supports the momentum. According to a recent report by CBRE, Mumbai accounts for 53% of India's operational data centre capacity and continues to dominate the under-construction pipeline, driven by hyperscaler expansion, BFSI demand and rising AI workloads. While Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR are scaling rapidly, Mumbai remains the epicentre of India's data centre growth story.
