New Delhi, April 24 -- Software engineering services company Ascendion, a provider of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered software engineering solutions, has announced the acquisition of UXReactor, a user experience strategy and design firm based in California. The deal marks another step in Ascendion's efforts to expand its capabilities in delivering digital products that focus on user experience.
UXReactor, founded in 2015, brings a team of design and strategy experts based in the United States, Asia, and South America. The firm works with clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations to develop user-centric design strategies aimed at driving business growth.
Ascendion's CEO, Karthik Krishnamurthy, said that the acquisition strengthens the company's ability to deliver high-impact digital experiences powered by AI. He added that the integration of UXReactor's expertise with Ascendion's existing engineering platforms would help clients move faster in creating user-friendly solutions.
The two firms have been collaborating since 2024. Their joint work includes projects such as developing a user-focused strategy for a software company in Silicon Valley and improving digital navigation systems for a major fintech client. In another project for a UK-based bank, the partnership contributed to a large-scale transformation aimed at millions of users.
The move also reflects Ascendion's broader growth strategy, which in recent years has included the acquisition of Nitor Infotech and the establishment of AI studios and new regional headquarters in Mexico.
UXReactor will continue to operate from its base in Silicon Valley, where it also runs an Experience Studio that hosts design workshops for software and digital product development. The integration is expected to help Ascendion deliver more cohesive and user-focused digital solutions at a faster pace.
UXReactor's CEO, Satyam Kantamneni, said that the partnership would allow the team to bring their expertise to a broader set of challenges. He noted that the demand for seamless, AI-powered user experiences is rising, and the combined strength of both firms positions them to meet this shift effectively.
In November 2024, the company launched an AI studio in Hyderabad., which was the second AI studio for the US-based organisation in India following a GenAI studio in Chennai in June last year.
