Srilanka, June 22 -- UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (23) on an official visit. He will be here until Thursday. It will be the fourth such visit by a UN Human Rights Chief to the country.

During his four-day visit, Turk is due to meet President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath, Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara, Members of Parliament and political leaders. He will also meet the Chief Justice, religious leaders, representatives of civil society organisations and UN representatives in Colombo.
