Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Trinity College exhibited some scintillating rugby to beat Wesley College 23-21 in a decisive Inter-Schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament Cup Championship fixture played at Pallekele, Kandy.

The Trinitians also secured the Dialog Schools Rugby League, 2025 with a game to spare, having last emerged champions way back in 1987.

Trinity, of course, started the match at the backdrop of some uncertainty as they needed a bonus-point win to clinch the League. And they performed that task to perfection while collecting their points from one goal, three tries, one penalty and one drop goal.
