Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- A Film Festival consisting of seven remarkable Sinhala films with outstanding music compositions by the late Pandit Amaradeva will be held from November 1 to 4 at the National Film Corporation, Tharanganee Hall.

The Film Festival is one of the commemorative events organized by the Amaradeva Foundation in reminiscence of the third death anniversary of Pandit Amaradeva, the great musician of our time. The Festival has lined up seven Sinhala films, namely, Gamperaliya, Delowak Athara, Thunman Handiya, Wesathuru Siritha, Tharangaa, Ransalu and Madolduwa and is open to the public free of charge. A short description about the film will be presented by a veteran in the field of Art before every screening.
