Srilanka, Nov. 23 -- Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Dinidu Saman Hennanayake said the Government is moving to restore the country's youth institutions, expand opportunities, and unify young Sri Lankans under a long-term national vision.

In an interview with the Sunday Observer this week he outlined the 2026 Budget's commitments to youth empowerment, key reforms at the National Youth Council, the restructuring of Youth Clubs, and the ongoing development of a comprehensive National Youth Policy. He also outlined the new initiatives such as Youth Link Sri Lanka, aimed at bridging long-standing communal divides and ensuring equal opportunities for young people across the country.
