Srilanka, July 20 -- Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange moved up as talks to reduce tariffs with the US were set to begin yesterday.
The ASPI rose 96.85 points, to 18,973, on Friday; while the S&P SL20 index climbed 0.47 percent, or 26.50 points, to close at 5,655.
The turnover rose to Rs. 7.6 billion while the share volume was 350,080,964.
