SriLanka, Jan. 25 -- Chief of Staff and Deputy Secretary-General of Parliament Chaminda Kularatne has been suspended from service pending an inquiry into alleged irregularities surrounding his appointment, senior parliamentary sources told the Sunday Observer yesterday. The sources rejected reports on several news websites that the interdiction was ordered solely by the Speaker and his Private Secretary, saying the decision was taken collectively by the Parliamentary Staff Advisory Committee.
