Sri Lanka, Sept. 21 -- The Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Company (SLASSCOM) has presented a comprehensive set of proposals for the forthcoming Budget aimed at driving the country's knowledge and innovation exports sector towards achieving USD 5 billion export revenue, nurturing a global-ready workforce and supporting 1,000 startups.

At the centre of the Association's recommendations is the call for clear consistent tax and regulatory policies to boost investor confidence. The Association notes that corporate tax uncertainties have increased operational risks discouraging foreign investors.
