Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Sri Lanka produced a pleasing performance to record three successive victories on the opening day of the Asia Rugby Emirates Under-20 Men's Rugby Sevens 2025, which commenced in Bihar, India yesterday.
The Sri Lanka junior Tuskers showed a great amount of determination and teamwork and went on to reach the semi-finals of the tournament while overcoming Hong Kong (24-19), India (24-5) and the UAE (26-24) respectively.
In fact, Sri Lanka's success against Hong Kong was a huge morale booster as their opponents were considered as one of the favourites to clinch the Cup Championship.
