Srilanka, Dec. 7 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake emphasised the urgent need for a coordinated operational mechanism that goes beyond normal State administration to restore public life following the recent disasters, while addressing the Kandy District Coordinating Committee at the Kandy District Secretariat yesterday morning (6).
Reviewing the rapid restoration programs under way across the district, President Dissanayake assessed the progress on essential infrastructure, including roads, electricity, water and fuel supply, irrigation systems, and communication networks.
