Sri Lanka, Dec. 21 -- Police SC cruised to a convincing 43-7 victory over Sri Lions SC in their Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament match played at Longden Place yesterday. The winners ran down seven tries and converted four of them with Vihanga Pivithuru making a huge impact with his individual brilliance as Police SC went on to register their first win of the tournament.

Police SC took a commanding 24-0 lead at half time while Sri Lions SC scored their solitary try in the second half. Kandy SC will be hoping to record their third successive win when they take on the CH and FC in another Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament match at the Nittawela Stadium today, commencing at 3.00 p.m.
