Sri Lanka, Nov. 1 -- A group of young Opposition politicians representing the South visited Jaffna on Friday at the invitation of the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) to better understand the social and economic challenges faced by communities in the Northern Province.

The delegation, composed of representatives from multiple political parties, included participants of a recent study tour to India that brought together 24 young politicians from 14 parties.

ITAK MPs Shanakyan Rasamanickam and Durairasa Ravikaran, former MP M. A. Sumanthiran, and party leader C. V. K. Sivagnanam received the Southern delegation.
