Srilanka, Feb. 2 -- Independence Day celebrations will commence from today (February 2) and religious observances will be held on Tuesday morning (February 4). The main Independence Day ceremony will be held at the Independence Square, Colombo on February 4. The Guard of Honour will begin on February 4 at 7.40 a.m. The arrival of the guests will begin with the arrival of Chief Justice Murdu Fernando, followed by the arrival of Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.
