Sri Lanka, Jan. 12 -- There are more than ten nationalities in our world. All the nationalities celebrate New Year in different ways. In our country, we celebrate the New Year in January and April. We prepare special sweet meals for New Year. We buy new clothes, clean our houses and schools during the vacation period. But Hindu traditions are different from us and Chinese and other nationalities celebrate in a different way from us. They celebrate the New Year of their culture, with their traditions. But all the nationalities wishes are the same. The wishes are for health, wealth, happiness and prosperity. And I wish everybody a Happy New Year.
