Srilanka, April 13 -- The results of the GCE Advanced Level (AL) examination held last year will most likely be released by the end of this month, Commissioner General of Examinations Amitha Jayasundara said.

The A/L examination was held from November 25 to December 20. 333,185 candidates sat the Advanced Level examination, of which 253,390 were school candidates and 79,795 were private candidates. The examination was held at 2,312 examination centres and 319 coordination centres across Sri Lanka with over 25,000 examination staff.
