Srilanka, Nov. 23 -- The Department of Education Western Province Tamil Unit held an Islamic Cultural Ceremony and Prize Giving at the Elphinstone Theatre, Colombo, recently, under the patronage of Education Department's Western Province Deputy Director A. S. Najeeb.

Western Province Governor Hanif Yusoof was the chief guest and Deputy Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs Muneer Mulaffer and Provincial Director of Education Mrs. M.I.D.D.C. Iddamalgoda were guests of honour.

Ministry of Education, Higher Education Vocational Education (Muslim Schools Development Branch) Director of Education Major N.T. Nasumutheen and Lanka Agro Processing Pvt Ltd Chairman M.C. Bahardeen were also present.
