Sri Lanka, Nov. 30 -- A high-level delegation from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, China, held discussions with the Chairman and senior management of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) at the EDB headquarters recently.

EDB Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe welcomed the delegation and provided a briefing on Sri Lanka's economic situation, export development targets and direction, and the investment-friendly environment created through political stability. He called upon the delegation to invite Chinese investors to invest in Sri Lanka.
