Srilanka, Dec. 7 -- Colts CC restricted Chilaw Marians CC to 180 for eight on the opening day of the Major League Three-Day Cricket Tournament fixture, which began at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo yesterday.
Lasith Lakshan hit a fighting half century for Chilaw Marians CC but the Colts CC took major honours with Harshana Wickramasinghe (4/41) and Akila Dananjaya (2/57) sharing the wickets.
Sahan Kosala and Dhananjaya de Silva struck unbeaten fifties as the CCC amassed 206 for two in their match against Nugegoda SC played at the SSC Grounds in Maitland Place.
