Sri Lanka, Sept. 21 -- The Cambridge University which plays a key role in the education sector in Sri Lanka is exploring the possibility of investing further in education in Sri Lanka, a top official of the university said.

"We wish Sri Lanka's numbers to increase because we can do a lot together and plan to make significant changes in the University's education in Sri Lanka," said Cambridge International Education Group Managing Director Rod Smith.

At a ceremony to mark the University's formal registration in Sri Lanka last week he said Cambridge would like to invest more on its education in Sri Lanka to support students for a better future.
