Sri Lanka, Feb. 1 -- The two-day 8th Ministerial Consultation of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue will conclude in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today (February 1).

Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance Prof. Anil Jayantha Fernando led the Sri Lankan delegation at the Dialogue, which centred on research-oriented policy discussions among the Member States from the region.

The UAE has hosted the Permanent Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue since its inception in 2008 as a voluntary consultative mechanism, designed to provide a public forum for dialogue between labour-sending and receiving countries along the Asia labour migration corridor.
