Sri Lanka, Nov. 2 -- An eye clinic for journalists was held at the National Eye Hospital yesterday, with around 150 media personnel taking part. The clinic offered free eye examinations, diabetes and blood pressure screenings, and pairs of spectacles at discounted rates.

The event was held under the patronage of Health and Mass Media Ministry Secretary Dr. Anil Jasinghe and was jointly organised by the Ministry of Mass Media and Health, the National Eye Hospital, and the Ophthalmologists' Association.
