Bengaluru, July 15 -- State-run Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) on Tuesday entered into an agreement with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to foray into global airport business, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
"The tie-up between the two companies will provide a platform to collaborate and support each other to address the emerging global opportunities in the airport business, especially in the APAC region," the city-based defence major said in a statement here.
As a development partner, the AAI will assist the BEL in domain expertise to execute civil aviation projects outside India.
