Philippines plans various initiatives to develop rubber industry
Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- In an effort to develop the rubber industry, The Philippines, under the Department of Trade and Industry-Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB), is planning various initiatives such as investment promotions and trade fairs/expositions both domestically and internationally. The country has included rubber as a value crop in agribusiness, like mangoes and banana. The exports of natural rubber (NR) from the Philippines were comprised of tyres, automotive/industrial products, footwear and latex-based products.
