India, Feb. 12 -- TUI AG (TUIFF.PK) on Tuesday reported loss before tax of 135 million euros for the first quarter of 2019, wider than adjusted loss of 84.3 million euros in the prior-year period.
Underlying EBITA widened to a loss of 83.6 million euros from 36.7 million euros last year.
Group loss for the quarter attributable to shareholders of TUI was 139.1 million euros, wider than adjusted loss of 109.2 million euros in the year-ago period. Loss per share was 0.24 euros, compared to 0.19 euros last year.
Turnover for the quarter rose 4.4 percent to 3.70 billion euros from an adjusted 3.55 billion euros in the previous-year quarter.
