India, June 7 -- Electrify America LLC, a unit of Volkswagen Group (VKW.L, VLKAF.PK, VOW.BE), and retail giant Walmart Inc. (WMT) said Thursday they have completed more than 120 ultra-fast electric vehicle charging stations at Walmart stores across 34 states in the U.S. These charging stations are operational and open to the public.
The companies noted that while most of the new charging stations are located at Walmart stores off major highways, dozens more chargers are planned for major metro areas, including California, the largest electric vehicle marker in the U.S.
