France, Nov. 5 -- Bayern Munich held off a late rally to beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 on Tuesday night to maintain their 100 percent record in the Champions League group stages and inflict a first defeat on the defending champions.

Luis Diaz dominated the first-half at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

The 28-year-old Colombian gave his side the advantage with their first meaningful attack four minutes into the encounter.

Serge Gnabry sent Michael Olise clear and though the PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier blocked his shot, Diaz latched on to the rebound and lashed the ball into the net.
