KATHMANDU, Oct. 5 -- Resident doctors of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajgunj on Monday held a protest rally in the capital city expressing solidarity with senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC.

The agitating physicians took to streets and marched up to the main road at Maharajgunj from TUTH to exert pressure on the government to meet the demands raised by Dr KC, who has been staging hunger strikes for the past 22 days. Resident doctors holding placards asked the government to address the demands raised by Dr KC.
