KATHMANDU, July 11 -- The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday issued a stay order, asking authorities to release around 800 containers of various goods stuck at various customs for the last four months.

A division bench of justices Ishwar Prasad Khadiwada and Bam Kumar Shrestha issued the order to release the containers of peas and other goods being imported after duly obtaining documents against payment (DAP).

The apex court directed the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to release the containers of various goods such as liquor, peas, black pepper, betel and dates.
