KATHMANDU, June 21 -- Kathmandu based ride sharing platforms will be resuming their service that have remained closed for almost two months following the government's prohibitory orders nearly two months ago. The ride-sharing services are resuming their services from Tuesday as the local administrations in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur announced to relax some prohibitory measures.

On Sunday, the three district administration offices in the Kathmandu Valley decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory orders by a week bringing changes in the modality of restrictions in different service-oriented businesses. They have decided to allow operating a number of transport services on the basis of odd-even registration numbers.
