KATHMANDU, June 29 -- Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 29, the Ministry of Health and Population said.

According to the ministry, the throat swab of a 30-year-old man who died in course of treatment at Star Hospital, Sanepa, on Friday, tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday. He was admitted to the hospital after having breathing difficulties.

"With this, the COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 29," the ministry spokesperson Jageshwar Gautam told a daily media briefing.
