KATHMANDU, Aug. 24 -- Nepal U-15 national football team has registered a 2-0 win against the national U-15 team of Sri Lanka in the second match of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-15 Championship being held in Kolkata on Friday.

Shashank Bohora and Ashim Rai registered their names on the score-sheet to keep Nepal alive in the tournament.

Nepal had suffered a terrible 5-0 loss against India in the opening match of the tournament on Wednesday.

Nepal took the lead at the start of the second half after the first was ended on a 0-0 stalemate. Nepal secured the lead as Bohora broke the deadlock in the 46th minute. It was doubled in the 83rd minute by Rai securing three points on the table.
