Nepal, March 14 -- The general strike called by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) led Nepal Communist Party has partly affected life across the country. Residents in different parts of the 77 districts have reported suspicious objects while the Nepal Army's bomb disposal unit has diffused IEDs in Pokhara, Gorkha, among others. The general strike has shut down schools, shops and banks.
