KATHMANDU, March 22 -- The influence of western winds along with local winds is present in the country. At present, in the morning, there is a partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, while the weather is generally clear in the rest of the country this morning. A few places in Koshi region are receiving light rain.

According to the Hydrology and Meteorology Forecasting Division, there will be partial to normal showers across the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places in the rest of the country.
