Health ministry warns of third wave of COVID-19 as cases rise once again in Nepal
KATHMANDU, July 22 -- The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has warned the general public to adopt COVID-19 safety protocols as the number of new cases of COVID-19 is rising alarmingly once again.
Issuing a press statement on Thursday, the health ministry said that Nepal is likely to witness a third wave of COVID-19 as the number of new cases are rising sharply.
According to the ministry, Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kaski, Rupandehi and Kailali are among the districts with more than 500 active cases of COVID-19 each.
