KATHMANDU, Nov. 17 -- The government spent only 6.91 percent of the capital expenditure in the first four months of the current fiscal year.

According to the Financial Comptroller General Office (FCGO), the government has so far spent only Rs 26.29 billion out of Rs 380.38 billion in capital expenditure allocated for the current fiscal year (FY 2022/23). It shows the dismal performance of the government this year too when it comes to utilizing the funds meant for development projects.
