KATHMANDU, Dec. 3 -- Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has postponed his scheduled visit to China, citing ongoing treatment of Prime Minister KP Oli.

A team of senior NCP leaders was scheduled to leave for China on December 10 at the invitation Chinese President Xi Jinping.

A member of Chairman Dahal's personal secretariat confirmed that the proposed visit of NCP leaders was put off for the time being. Chairman Dahal had decided to put off the visit after concluding that it was not good to leave for China when Prime Minister Oli is undergoing treatment.
