KATHMANDU, Sept. 20 -- The CPN-UML-aligned Nepal Civil Servants Employees Association has formally split after 31 years of its establishment.

Government employees close to the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by Madhav Nepal have split the CPN-UML-aligned Nepal Civil Servants Employees Association and formed a new Employees Association.

However, both sides have kept the name of the organization the same. Both sides have claimed that the organization has not split and one has taken action against the other. Both have claimed that the name of the organization is Nepal Civil Servants Employees Association.
