Nigeria, May 23 -- The South-west leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have kicked against the agitation for a Yoruba nation.

The leaders, who met in Lagos on Sunday, said they were not in support of the ethnic group's break away from Nigeria.

They also discussed the issue of insecurity facing the region and Nigeria as a whole.

Those present at the meeting included leaders like Bola Tinubu, Olusegun Osoba, and Bisi Akande, among others.

The six governors in the region were also said to be present at the meeting.
