Nigeria, Nov. 16 -- The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi State, Natasha Akpoti, has said that no real election is ongoing in Kogi Central part of Kogi State.

She also said numerous threats to her life, allegedly by the incumbent governor, delayed her from casting her vote.

She alleged that the governor, Yahaya Bello, had ordered people to kill her since yesterday.

Addressing journalists shortly after she cast her vote on Saturday, she said that no credible election is going on in Kogi central as most of her party agents had been harassed and arrested by "fake police officers."
