Nigeria, Nov. 12 -- The federal government has inaugurated a 14-member Inter-Ministerial Committee on the Ban of Single-Use Plastics (SUPs), marking a major step toward advancing environmental sustainability and reforming waste management across the country.

The development was announced in a statement issued Tuesday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), Segun Imohiosen.
