Nigeria, Feb. 26 -- The publisher of Ovation Magazine and one of the supporters of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Dele Momodu, has advised Mr Abubakar to concede defeat and congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Momodu, a social media influencer, gave the advice Tuesday morning via his Twitter handle @DeleMomodu. He apparently based his suggestion on the results of the states released so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Mr Momodu said he was aware Mr Abubakar would consult widely with party leadership, family members and associates both home and abroad. He advised that the path of peace should be toed in whatever choice he opted to take.
