XEOS inaugurates CFM LEAP maintenance in Poland
Poland, March 24 -- GE Aerospace announced the inauguration of XEOS, a state-of-the-art engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in ?roda ?l?ska near Wroc?aw. A joint venture between GE Aerospace and Lufthansa Technik, the facility is focused on the overhaul and repair of CFM International* LEAP engines, which power today's most popular narrowbody aircraft. These include CFM LEAP-1A engines for the Airbus A320neo family and CFM LEAP-1B engines for the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. XEOS is currently performing LEAP-1B shop visits while also supporting LEAP-1A module work and engine testing.
